MEAL PREP MADE EASY

At RESONATE we're all about providing our community with the simplest things that can make the biggest difference. One minor change that can be implemented within our lives is the art of food prep; an affordable and convenient process of pre making some delicious dinners that can be heated up at later notice. Pure time saving goodness in a handy little tub and this one in particular is only 320 calories per serving and enriched with protein. An enzyme we need for optimal muscle function and gains (for those seeking them).

What you shall need:

300g chicken breast

Fri-light spray (RESONATE recommends)

As much spinach as you desire

Mixed herbs

Garlic powder

1 onion

150g of veg

For this prep we opted for carrots, sweet potato and pepper.

THE PROCESS

Firstly you want to preheat your oven to 200 degrees fan assisted.

Then you want to use a chopping board and finely dice up the 1 onion, pop this to one side while you line a baking tray with tin foil. You will then want to place the chicken breasts on the baking tray rubbing garlic powder to your desired potency and then continue to rub the onions over them as well. A personal preference is slicing each chicken breast partly open and placing onions in and around the split as this truly adds more flavour to the meat.

Now, wash your hands (thoroughly) and place that board in the dishwasher, there should be no cross contamination of meat and veg. What you want to do next is peel the carrots and the sweet potato and chop those into smaller cubes and place on another tray lined with foil. Then deseed and chop up the peppers and add this to the other vegetables. When this is done you want to spray the veg in fry light and mixed herbs rubbing it all together until every piece is adequately covered.

Nearly there, you want to place these in the oven for 30 minutes.

While your waiting it is ideal to get your tubs ready and place a bed of spinach in the bottom of each one. When the time has passed, safely remove the trays and divide up the veg and meat amongst the tubs, let them cool before placing the lids on and VOILA your prepped for 5 dinners worth of food. When you want to eat them you just heat them in the microwave for 3 minutes or until piping hot and serve with condiments of your choice.
